Sculptural Pottery by Tammy L. (Quigley) Rosenow

Pottery Made With Passion

With a B.S. in Art Ed. From Kutztown, I designed paper products before I became a teacher. I later concentrated on Ceramics at Penn State for my M.S. This experience solidified and accentuated my love for nature. This is reflected in my paintings and pottery.

Stoneware Pottery: Clay and Usage

Using Stoneware Clay and Food-grade glaze, my pottery is intended to be highly functional. Layered mugs and adorned bowls are relevant examples. Hundreds of customers simply enjoy them as decorative pieces of art.

“My pieces reflect my love for nature, the wheel thrown form, and my love for color.”

Ceramic Sculpture: Pottery Techniques

I create artwork that exhibits a variety of techniques such as sculpture, scene painting, sgraffito, and slip application to enhance my wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery forms. I often incorporate natural elements into my pieces that I have discovered through my travels and experiences.
